February 2010: Rotary Support for Reaching Hearts for Kids
On February 24, 2010, The Rotary Club of Carroll Creek Frederick presented the Director of RHK with a check for $2,000 to help in the education of underprivileged children in Zambia, through the Cookstove project. The Director's presentation was well received by the 120 Rotarians present at 7:15 am at a Breakfast meeting. RHK wishes to express gratitude to President Mary Ford Naiil, President of Carroll Creek Rotary Club, all the Rotarians and especially to Mr. John Capoccia who was instrumental in arranging this appointment. Mr. Capoccia expressed his interest in promoting RHK's work through their Rotary newsletter and website and for a long-term partnership with Carroll Creek Rotary Club.
