Africa Trip

February 6-18, 2010, RHK Director was in Ethiopia and Tanzania to check on the projects and made contacts with potential donors and government officials.

Tanzania
RHK Director with Mr. Kiniyilai Ole Nini, Chief of Maasai tribe in Namanga and member of Reaching Hearts for Kids Board in Namanga, Tanzania. She also met with four of the Maasai tribal leaders in Namanga. After asking them for additional land and they agreed. According to Maasai tradition, all agreements have to be concluded by slaying a goat or sheep as a sign and seal. Since there was no time to do eat the meal together, we offered them $30 which is the price of a goat that they can eat together.
