Testimonies from Cook-stove Beneficiaries
With ECHO Aid, Australia, Reaching Hearts for Kids is making a great impact for communities in Zambia. Mothers report that they are saving between 50,000 to 100,000 kwachas a month by using the new fuel-efficient cook-stove. Children are going to school and mothers are empowered to do micro-business. ECHO Aid has introduced large plantations for planting trees and harvesting twigs to replace charcoal, which has created many jobs for people in the community and benefited the environment in Zambia.
